After graduating in Milan with full marks with Sergio Delmastro and Laura Magistrelli, Paolo Sartori studied at ZHdK in Zürich with Fabio Di Casola, where he obtained the Master in Music Performance and the Master in Specialized Music Performance Orchestra. He won prizes in international competitions in Stockholm and Vienna and he’s the recipient of two swiss scholarships. Over the years he participated in summer masterclasses with Calogero Palermo, Sabine Meyer, Pascal Moraguès, Yehuda Gilad, Alessandro Carbonare.
His orchestral training includes participations in youth orchestras such as the Aurora Music Festival Symphony Orchestra (Sweden), Orchestre des Jeunes de la Mediterranée in Festival d’Aix-En-Provence (France), Collegium Musicum Pommersfelden (Germany). In the academic year 2018-2019 he participated in the Orchestra Academy “Obiettivo Orchestra” of the Teatro Regio in Turin at APM in Saluzzo. In season 2021-22 he did a Volontariat (Internship) in Philharmonia Zürich of Opernhaus Zürich, receiving lessons from Rita Karin Meier (First solo clarinet of Philharmonia Zürich). In July 2023 he performed as soloist Weber’s Concerto in F minor op.73 with Collegium Musicum Pommersfelden in Germany.
Currently he is a attending the High Specialization Course “I Fiati” at Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Alessandro Carbonare.
